Our Engagement Story!!!
Caleb proposed on Saturday November 26th, 2011!
The night began at Market Station here in Leesburg. This little shopping plaza holds a special place in our hearts because it was where we had our first Leesburg date!

Unfortunately the restaurant we went to the first time is now closed for business but Caleb picked an amazing substitute in the Jasmine Cafe.
Dinner was filled with great food and great conversation! Caleb even tried sushi for the first time. Alas it was time for the check and I was actually sad to see the night end.
Once we left the restaurant Caleb took me to the park down the street. It wasn't just any park it was one of OUR parks.
When we first moved here we didn't know a soul, so to entertain ourselves we would take walks and go to different parks to play/run/paint/build anything we could think of to get out the house.
This particular park was my favorite because it was the most scenic. There was a little creek and a gazebo and it was always so quite. So Once we got there I knew something fishy was going on.
He sat me down in the gazebo, looked into my eyes and said that he didn't want to wait any longer.. that all he wanted was to love me for the rest of his life... that all he wanted was to grow old with me.. all he wanted was to love me forever. Then he got down on one knee and reached into his pocket and pulled out...

The cutest handmade lanyard I've ever laid eyes on! Without hesitation I said yes.. YES YES!!! Then the next 5/10 minutes went something like this...
Erika: Now where's the ring?
Caleb: Well a ring isn't really in our budget right now, but I just didn't think we should wait any longer. Maybe we can afford a ring next year.
Erika: .. Oh... Ok *feigns happiness*
Caleb: Ok I know its cold out we can go
Erika: Ok! I love you!!
Caleb: I love you more..
During the ride home I was feeling a mixture of emotions, happy he asked, but unsure if it even counts without a ring.
Once we got home I open the door to a trail of rose petals that led me to a little box on the dresser... needles to say I asked him to take a knee one more time!!!
